Lurking deep in the shadows of the alternative music scene is South African band Beatenberg, whose impressive third original release, “Rafael”, graces us with down-to-earth vibes, and an exquisite mood that's indeed a rarity to experience. The band, whose popularity (not only in South Africa) was born when featured on DJ Clock's “Pluto (Remember You)”, seeks to share its joy in music with the listener, as this is made notable by the voices of its members who lyrically and tonally surpass the work of their alternative counterparts.
