With Beat Connection over the years, we've never really come across one kind of sound of theirs that you can really pin them on. Their shining example of this was last year's "Another Go Round", a joyous, upbeat indie-pop number with splashes of sitars that we really ended up gravitating toward, and now with "Illusion", the act's latest track, we've the complete opposite: dance-ready, synth-ridden R&B that sounds completely unique. As a fan of music, when you hear a band with the kind of wide-ranging capabilities that they possess and continually express, you get excited, and with their latest effort here, excited we certainly are.
