Nordic producer Bearson got his start crafting pristine, colorful remixes of songs by artists like SOHN and Benjamin Francis Leftwich. He quickly transitioned into writing original material, though, and efforts like "Imposter" demonstrated his pop sensibilities as well. "Want You", his latest release, meets and exceeds our expectations. Featuring vocalist Cal, it's a glimmering electronic-pop gem that shows Bearson's skill as a songwriter and producer as well. The combination of sunny production and catchy hooks is a winning one (it's extremely ready-made for spring and summer playlists), and the fact that his bio says he should be releasing his new EP in time for that latter season means we're all going to stay attuned.
