BEA is a brand-new face that's just recently broke the surface, and her new song is something that you're not going to want to miss out on. She's a 22-year-old (hence, the "1991" in her SoundCloud moniker, we assume) who's currently living in Amsterdam making music that's both beautifully dark in tone, and easily accessible for the casual listener. In essence, it's pop, but not the kind that loses its flavor after a couple seconds of listening. Her voice fills up the track and compliments the minimalist production work nicely, but at times, it sounds like you're listening to her from the end of a long, dark hallway. It's a clever production trick, and it makes the track feel that much more expansive when used correctly and in moderation. BEA is basically unknown at this point in her career, but she's definitely one of those artists that you're going to want to keep close tabs on, because with songs like "Breadwinner", it's only a matter of time before that changes.
