Today, the overwhelming wave of newly emerged electronic duos drops off another impressive group, BAY., hailing from Croydon, Britain. BAY. actually released two tracks last year, but for whatever reason, they sort of disappeared until their promising new single exposed itself to us today. With it, the trio comfortably achieves a vibe that isn’t too mild, nor overly upbeat; the medium is a simple euphonic sound, conveyed through an array of deep synths, echoed keys, and a smooth electric guitar segment. The vocalist’s captivating falsetto glides fluently overtop a set of fresh percussion, too, and the result of all this is a track that can be tossed easily into that “Songs of the Summer” playlist you’ve got going on.
