Melbourne's Tanya Batt and Birmingham's Ficci are both new to our pages, but they've made a particularly strong introduction to them with "Morals", their entrancing debut single under the guise of "BATTS", a new collaborative project. Already with one well-received effort under their collective belt, the two are set to take a lot more people's attention with "Morals", and Tanya's truly captivating vocals are the first of many reasons for this being the case. Not long from the onset of the track, they appear in spellbinding fashion, and what light, well-accommodating atmosphere Ficci wraps around them only adds to the powerful ethereality of the piece as a whole. There's really not much to fuss about with the effort at all (Tanya and Ficci are exceptionally well-fit for the aesthetic each other exudes), and one is led to believe that with more like them, BATTS will be swirling in our minds—and in the minds of others—for some time to come.
