Bastian's Happy Flight is a five-piece disco-funk outfit from Perth, Australia that we weren't aware of until DIE HIGH brought them to our attention earlier today. Their jubilant "Come for the early (stay for the late)" track from Heart/Works received the remarkable remix treatment from NY producer, Sweater Beats, and we couldn't be more intrigued by the end result. Sweater Beats' additions lend layers of synth-funk to the original, and an impossibly upbeat ambiance follows necessarily. The pacing of the track alters a bit in the middle, adopting a downtempo, more interestingly intimate vibe that we can't get enough of. There are some Sable-esque synths that enter occasionally into the fray, blanketing the track with shreds of exoticness that do well to balance the conspicuous disco vibes, and because of this, additional replayability is due to the infectious work that Sweater Beats so majestically put together.
