There’s something to be said about producers who make a name for themselves not only for their electronic sound, but also for their vocal abilities, and that's what we have here with Barny Rubble and his latest single, “One Thing.” The track is a synth-popping banger with a Roosevelt-esque sound, and, a little bit through it, it molds itself into more of a house template. It's far from a common one, however, and it stands above 99% of the other house efforts that we’ve come across this year. The running synths in the track are met with a number of electronic infusions that keep it on its toes, and, all the while, the upbeat aura of Rubble’s vocals round it out well. Barny Rubble is defintely on to something here with his morphed—and morphing—sound, and he'll no doubt be behind much more of the great house that's to be featured on HD ahead.
