Banquise first caught our attention eight months ago with their track, "Goodbye". Since that release, the French group has taken some time off from releasing new music. Today, however, they're back with their new single, "Be Cool", that's accompanied by a brand-new video as well. The song's shady vocals and electronic vibe portray a sound that could easily be mistaken for being from the 80's; smooth guitars and layers of synths also contribute to the song's overall feel, as does a female vocalist harmonizing in the background. "Be Cool" is leading off their forthcoming EP, People Under the Sun, that should be out in the next few months.
