Anyone in love with music is in love with Banoffee as well, whether they're aware of it or not. The Melbourne artist is one of the most intriguing-sounding there are across all genres, and her particular sonic brand—some awesome and eclectic blend of indie, pop, and electronic—invites curiosity, awe, and a painfully real longing for more material at all times. Thankfully, we get some of that in the form of "With Her" today. "With Her" represents the first new material Banoffee's released in about a year's time, and it's also the first track leading off her new, yet-to-be-titled EP. One of our favorite individuals on the site here, Oscar Key Sung, got to play a part in the production alongside Banoffee, herself, and, as you'll soon find out, that chemistry really ensured success for the track. With such a solid, appealing sonic foundation, Banoffee is able too easily do her thing on the vocal front, and, indeed, we hear her warm tone and spirited lines cast throughout. The effort overall is one that's celestial but immersive as well, and you are bound to love it lots.
