We've been following BANNERS for the better part of a year now, ever since coming to know his sound through the single, "Ghosts". He has been one of our favorite vocalists ever since, and with his newest effort here, "Half Light", he seems to be continuing the appeal of his soulful, sorrowful brand of pop. The singer-songwriter's textured, sultry vocals are accompanied by the usual array of primitive instrumentation (piano, strings, booming percussion) here, and they've never sounded better together. BANNERS, as we mentioned, has been making a name for himself as a result of these starkly impactful tunes, and it's great to see him continuing to put them out.
