Earlier this year, we were introduced to the spirited, oddly melancholic debut from Liverpudlian singer-songwriter RAINES with single “Ghosts”. It was a highly impressive offering, no doubt, and now, six months and one name change later, ("BANNERS" is the new name he's going by), we finally have the video for the aforementioned track. Directed by Chris Ranson and produced by Rufus Exton of Zebrafish Media, the music video follows a mysterious figure in black motorcycle gear as he rides through the vacant countryside, stopping briefly to visit houses of people as they sleep. The rider walks through each abode with familiarity, pausing as he passes each household relic or sleeping occupant like an apparition or a lingering memory that continues to haunt each space. This emotive imagery continues throughout the video which has been truly been beautifully shot, and the breathtaking cinematography that's captured pairs perfectly with the delicate vocals that BANNERS provides.
