We featured Nightizm's Lorde remix here a couple of days ago, and to say it did well would be an understatement. The Toronto-based producer's dark blend of bass and experimental textures is a match made in heaven, but what really takes his music to the next level is the effortless flow that he pulls off despite the heavy experimental influences he injects. Normally, stuff like this is a bit off-kilter and disjointed, but Nightizm's ear for subtle rhythms keeps his rendition of "Bedroom Wall" on track in much the same way he was able to compose Lorde's "A World Alone." Coming off such a surprise hit with his previous release, the stakes were going to be high for this one, but his BANKS remix is definitely up to par, and it does a good job developing the sound in his previous work.
