One of the most bizarre & polarizing issues that's quickly rising in the public consciousness today, is the rise of the 'conspiracy theory'. No matter what side of the fence you're on, there is no denying that it is truly fascinating stuff. With everyone asking the likes of Kanye West & Jay-Z if they're in the Illuminati, to rappers laughing about it, denying it and claiming it exists; it's been an interesting thing to watch to say the least. Addressing these issues directly on the aptly titled "Illuminotme" are Bambu, Brother Ali & Odessa Kane who skip the talk of whether or not Jay-Z is in the Illuminati and jump right into the bigger issues that come with the whole 'conspiracy' conundrum. As Bambu explains there is no need to call it a conspiracy when the corporatocracy is right in your face —Brother Ali warns of blind belief — Odessa Kane warns to not dive into subjects that divert your attention away and distract you. Brother Ali says it best during his verse: "...they tell you what the truth is, new shit, the proof is, a slow motion You Tube clip with scary music, believing these officials would be foolish, but info with no action is useless...... It's the information age that ain't what we're lacking, it's the heart and the backbone to make it happen, I love knowledge never patronize that, but what we need to know is where your sacrifice is at" The end perspective here?
