BALKO is a new five-piece band from Sydney, and if you're a fan of Tame Impala, drawing comparisons between them and the former act on "Fiona", the newest track from them, is going to be absolutely a given. Despite that, though, do not just quickly brush off BALKO as a carbon copy. Sure, the lead vocals of frontman Jack Bennett sound like Kevin Parker's, but the more you let "Fiona" unveil itself, the further it distances itself from the famous act. In fact, BALKO employs a much heavier sound, so if you're a fan of the kind of sound that uses heavy guitars, you'll definitely be digging this.
