In what has proven to be a clever marketing strategy, the trio has roped in some of the best music websites in the game right now to drip-feed premieres of new tracks from their recently released and updated version of their JSMN EP, JSMN deluxe, and Hillydilly has joined the chorus singing their praise as we bring you the premiere of "Northern Sky". Of all the new tracks on JSMN Deluxe, "Northern Sky" is the closest embodiment of their self-proclaimed ethos of creating "smooth electronic music for creatures of the night". The brooding atmosphere of dark electronica and slight vocal distortion evokes imagery of an ominous night drive through a dark country road with the synthesised keys as your headlights, piercing through the low-lying fog, keeping you on the road as you are all the while tantalised, "Watching the meteors fly in the Northern sky". This is an accomplished and impressive offering from a band deserving of all the acclaim being directed their way. It is an ambitious move to attempt to promote your music in such a manner, and yet it is a testament to the quality of the body of work to have everyone jump on board and be a part of it. JSMN Deluxe is truly remarkable, and an EP that you can own for yourself through iTunes.
