If you've been a casual observer of BADBADNOTGOOD through their recent involvement on Kaytranada's album, and their production work for the likes of Ghostface Killah, Frank Ocean and Danny Brown, but have never really focused or heard their solo music, your time has some to give your ears to their debut album, IV, that's now streaming on Apple Music. The four-piece act is a instrumental group (think jazz, soul, hip-hop) with no lead vocalist, and instead—throughout the album—enlist featured vocalists; from the likes of soul singer Sam Herring, up-and-coming pop artist Charlotte Day Wilson, another Kaytranada collaboration + many more. The album balances out between their instrumental work alongside the vocal-featured tracks and results in one cool, enjoyable, and smooth listens. So, if you're looking for something to offset your current listening habits, we definitely recommend you check out this album now. Our favorites are below, but you can check out the full stream on Apple Music now, and/or pre-order it on iTunes (it's out July 8).
