Toronto’s BADBADNOTGOOD's beats have served as bountiful platforms for many respected rappers to lay their lines on, and here today, we’ve a collaboration with the jazz group and Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah entitled “Gunshowers” that mashes the work of either at a pinnacle level. On top of housing the lyrically bulletproof Elzhi on the track, too, BBNG and Ghostface have come out with news that they've a collaborative LP that will be out early next year (February 17) via Lex Records. Ghostface's work speaks for itself, and BBNG’s past work with artist such as Tyler, The Creator and Frank Ocean have been hailed as both innovative and first-rate, so we’ve great excitement that the artists have announced a joint work together. With “Gunshowers” as the preliminary look of it, too, we hypothesize that the forthcoming efforts will be some of the better hip-hop ones we've heard in a while.
