We tend to see a pattern in regions churning out quality music, but what's most encouraging about our worldly sonic explorations is coming across acts from untapped areas. BAB, an unkown act from Romania, paints the feeling perfectly with "Beginnings", and, though we've little information about them as of now, we do see that the four have been floating around for a little over six months now, launching an inaugural EP, Seeing, and a 16-track album called Ahead. "Beginnings" is by far their stand out piece of work to date (it's from we plucked out from their aforementioned album), and truly it's teeming with heartfelt emotions throughout. The female vocalist is the one guiding the track with her echoed tone and superb execution at its forefront, and what atmospheric production rides alongside helps bring about a pretty evocative setting as a whole. Let's hope for more of this kind of sound to come.
