Azekel is an artist we've had watchful eyes on for over two years, and, as we've seen him autonomously polish both his production and vocal abilities, there's not the slightest doubt that his second EP, Raw, Vol 1., is his best body of work to date. Anchoring quite an ambitious take on R&B, the London-based talent has meticulously chiseled away at his sound, and he's somehow molded his stunning vocals alongside his exuberant and arcane beat-making skills. While we've already featured every single piece of this project, there's a lot more to unearth in terms of Azekel's style when listened to them together. From thrusting bass elements, to effortless, tempo-changing drums, the UK talent doesn't hold back on stacking layers upon layers of sonic inclusions, consequently and sizably standing out amongst his peers' sound. The vocal front cannot be emphasized on enough, either, as he glides through his own melodies immaculately and utilizes his enamored lyricism to its utmost capacity on each track. We're guessing that Vol 1. means there's proceeding work in the days to come for Azekel here, and, if that's the case, R&B is set to see a new man in front in the future.
