UK R&B newcomer Azekel provides an interesting cover/mashup of T.Rex's "Bang A Gong" and XXYYXX's "Alone". Thankfully Azekel takes a lot of artisitc liberties with the melody and tone of the original T.Rex hit and mostly it's just the lyrics that remain, but the unconventional combination actually works quite well in the end, thanks to Azekel's impeccable vocal prowess and XXYYXX's subtle rhythms. Don't be surprised if you start to see Azekel's name start to pop up often in the R&B world in the very near future.
