We came across Dutch-based trio UNNO fairly recently, and we were impressed by their unique vocal-led electronic. Today, we get to know Awir Leon (he's one-third of the group) on solo endeavor "Sitting So High". Not quite identical to UNNO's sound, Leon has a style that requires just a little getting used to, though it becomes completely immersive once you do give it time. Rising chords, unique crescendos, and esoteric vocals make for the track's appeal. Leon hasn't quite mustered up all the attention he deserves just yet, but with his debut solo album, Giants, on the way (and this particular piece out), we have much reason to look forward to his future ordeals.
