Last month, we saw the debut track, "XX", emerge from the Sydney duo, AViVAA, and now we see the beautiful song being remixed by fellow Aussie, Nicholas Basquiat. The original had taken us by surprise with it's immense beauty, and one can only assume that Nicholas felt the same, because as his new look would suggest, we find a reinterpretation that pays homage to it while still adding a whole new dimension. The transformative effects are executed in subtle fashion, but if you listen closely, you'll hear new percussion, driving guitar melodies, and, if you stick around long enough, an ending that ascends into a crashing symphony of huge, scaling electronic. So if you felt the original lacked that extra punch, Nicholas Basquiat made sure with his hugely transfixing remix to remedy all and any concerns.
