We feel pretty ridiculous comparing any electronic artists to Flume these days, but sometimes sounds are so similar that it's actually a disservice to leave the comparisons out. With San Franciscan producer AViDD's "Keep U Warm", too—a standout track on a new mixtape curated by Blackbird Blackbird—it's pretty hard not to reminisce about the aforementioned producer's up-and-down, synth-laden sound. The new track in question here has a slightly cheery, sprightly beginning, and stretched-out samples line a buildup that ultimately results in the type of high-scaling and free-falling synths that have come to partially categorize the Australian star. Looking at AViDD's sparse SoundCloud will reveal that he's been putting together works for at least two years' time—so it's not like he's piggybacking blatantly on anything here—but hey, it's not the end of the world if you're remembered for producing similar sounds to one of the greats, anyway.
