There's nothing like ethereal electronic on a downtrodden day. It's the ability to uplift, to take us to more comfortable spiritual places, and for that, we're indebted to it. We're indebted to AVAY and Cheney Weird, by extension, then, because their collaborative track, "Fantasize", is everything we want and need when times get quiet. It's downtempo through and through, with lo-fi-sounding synths and electronic modulations sweeping across an unidentified-but-alluring vocal sample. The atmosphere assumed is a gentle one, blending together intrigue and sonic sensitivity, and you can bet your bottom dollar that we'll be having this one handy when the evening hours strike.
