Ava wolfe, a new pop artist from Hollywood, is a self-proclaimed maker of "pop noir", and she's also a "cinefile", meaning she loves herself some movies (she does live in Hollywood, after all). Her track, "xkss", one of two she's uploaded to her SoundCloud page, shows she's true to her word, too, as she uses a clip from 1942-released classic Casablanca to create her dark and slightly cinematic sound. With the track, she showcases easily her appeal, and, as a starting point for what could be a promising musical career, we think she's definitely on the right track.
