The exciting new wave of Asian rap has been led by 88rising, a record label and collective containing some of music's most hyped upcoming acts (Rich Brain, Keith Ape, Joji), and, though much of their material falls into the rap category, they certainly don't box themselves in by any restraints. They're proving that with "Funeral", a heartfelt R&B track from new artist AUGUST 08, which we've below. If you're a Rich Brian fan, you might have already heard AUGUST 08 on the closing track of his newly released album. The LA-based talent displays some serious songwriting and vocal ability on his debut here, and we're excited to hear more on his Father EP through 88rising/Red Bull Records.
