As we await his upcoming album, Hollow Ponds, UK pop artist Astronauts releases his latest single, “Skydive”. The release will tickle your ears with its gentile acoustic upstart, and as the drum breaks, you’ll be fully submerged in the musical aura that is Dan Carney’s vocals. The instrumental is soft and all-encompassing, too, really resembling a full sound that draws you deeper in amidst the guitar, cello, drums, and a medley of other accompaniments employed on the effort. With Astronauts’s album releasing July 21st, you’ll be hearing a lot more from him in the near future, and with a first single like this, we can only hope we won’t have to wait until its release to have another taste of the musical bliss he’s here shown to be capable of.
