ASTR has made a name for themselves producing impeccable pieces of pop, and though they're no longer newcomers to the music scene, their sound is always fresh and unlike most others found within the genre. After releasing their debut EP, Varsity, and a multitude of covers and collaborations since, the NYC-based duo has returned with a gleaming new number, "Invincible", and we're happy to share it today. The piece incorporates singer Zoe Silverman's shadowy, silky vocals over beatmaker Adam Pallin's flowing synths and sizzling drums, and it reveals an extraordinarily personal narrative overall. "Invincible" has most of its listenability locked in nights, long drives, and the times after parties are over, but it can certainly be appreciated for the vulnerable piece it is as well. ASTR is accompanying Ryn Weaver and HOLYCHILD on the former's Misfit Toys tour through North America this November. The dates for that are below.
