NYC electro-pop duo ASTR—comprised of vocalist Zoe Silverman and producer Adam Pallin—has spent the last three years building a reputation as one of the hottest upcoming acts in their genre by releasing plenty of singles, a fantastic debut EP, and several great remixes. Now, however, they've returned with a new track, "Activate Me", and it's exactly what they need to leap directly into the spotlight. The upbeat, dance-ready effort possesses an incredibly poppy sound, and though it will undoubtedly attract serious attention from the masses, it's genuinely a very good tune. The fact that the legendary Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins contributes to the production here is (he mixed-down the track), too, another sign that ASTR is set for widespread fame, so get aboard with what they're doing, and be sure to check their track below.
