As seen in his home country of Iceland, In The Silence has already been a massive success. With the album already being the best-selling domestic debut album in Iceland’s history, Ásgeir now preps for his North American invasion with the release of In The Silence. The Iceland-released album was originally sung and written in that native language, so if you're wondering why you never caught wind of it before this, that's why. Ásgeir leads off the album with the previously released single, "Torrent", that set the stage for everyone as far as knowing what to expect from the rest of the album's contents. But now with the rest of In The Silence out to digest, not only are we impressed, we are completely smitten here.
