It's great to see the Adelaide, Australia duo, Artis, take off so successfully after having pledged allegiance to their ambient electronic sound as recently as late last year. You know that when an artist or team of artists can pick up steam that quickly, that they were meant to be making the music they are. That's the case with the particular DIE HIGH producers, who've graced our pages before with a host of enthralling efforts. Their latest shared works, "No One Like You" and "4:20" continue the trend of fantastically forward-thinking work from the two, each having been released on Thursdays of the month as part of their intent to spill some more hip-hop inspired beats that didn't make the cut for their upcoming EP. It's pretty incredible to consider the excitingly experimental sounds as not good enough, but, so long we're able to bathe in their electronic brilliance, we won't complain.
