As a blogger on Xmas break, you either take a break entirely, or you use the time to dig around the internets and catch up on anything you may have missed. For us at HD, we definitely choose the latter. When you're on a mission like we are, holidays are just an annoying block of time that delays progress. During one of our click-happy excursions today, we came across the debut single, "Calling Me", from the Silverdale, UK-based duo, Aquilo. It came out back in March, so it's safe to say we're late here, but with only 15k plays over that amount of time, it can be assumed it flew a bit under the radar. "Calling Me" is a calm song that finds its strength in the way its gentle melodies coarse through spellbinding harmonies and ethereal vocals. Think of it as M83 meets R&B.
