Antony Left — Young Souls

Antony Left

Young Souls

Experimenting with genres seems to have become a common practice amongst budding artists, and today, we've Lisbon-based talent Anthony Left who's exemplifying the claim with his warping take on electronic. The Portuguese producer is barely known at this point, which is quite befuddling, especially since he's been hovering in the music sphere for over three years and has several high-quality pieces of work to his name. Over the three years of his sonic explorations, we've picked out four of his best cuts, and while they're more on the mellow side, he's also delved quite intently into the D&B and acoustic genres in particular, adding even more expertise to his overall sound. "Young Souls" is probably the best portrayal of António Graça's (Antony Left) transitioning style, as the instrumentations and vocal abilities delivered shine and also provide an ideal introduction to the three other electronic-leaned tracks. "Join Us", "Empire", and "Simon's shelter" are the ones that fit the aforementioned description, and what R&B vocals accompany their downtempo backdrops make for quite the unique blend of break-filled, vocal-led work.
