Cornering ANTONIO//PAUL and trying to typecast these guys into one genre or sound is simply not going to work. As we find on their new single, "Coloured Screens", the guys depart from the alternative-rock sound we found on, "TRA$H PARTY" and do a complete 180 into indie-pop territories with this one. When we say indie-pop, this is definitely not your typical kind of expected indie-pop. With off-kilter drum patterns & tweaking 8-bit bleeps, the outer layers of the production on "Coloured Screens" lean more towards 'oddball' electro but at the end of the day it's the vocals that leave it firmly stuck in the pop arena. Whatever you want to call this, it's worth the listen regardless.
