Being the first time Melbourne native Angus Green has graced an HD, we can say with confidence that he's done a pretty good job at making a good first impression with "You Can Be". It's been two months since the track has been released, sure, but as we all already know, quality knows no time constraints, and if something's to our liking in particular, we've no problems whatsoever putting it up "late". Angus' track begins with an easy yet gradual transition, and it later hands in an ample amount of bass and synths mixed in. When the one-minute mark is hit, the real magic happens and we're treated to a futuristic hip-hop feel that blends doses of vocals in-between, and we'd be totally remiss to say we don't hope to hear more of the kind of vibe moving forward. Angus has knocked this effort out of the park as far as we're concerned, and there's little reason to expect that he can't build on his potential-rich sound from here on out.
