Angelo De Augustine is new to our ears, but his intimate indie-folk sound is charmingly familiar. Singles "Somewhere Far Away" and "Time" are narratives rooted in heartache that are beautifully delicate, and, with a softness reminiscent to Sufjan Stevens or even early Bon Iver, De Augustine's work is proof that even with minimal instrumentation, strong penmanship can go a long, long way.
