If you missed the first time we covered Anfa Rose two months ago, it's time to get familiar with the Sydney-based artist. His last EP, She Been Waiting, showcased his R&B inclination with an ability to sing over a multitude of heavy, hazed-out beats as well (some were from the likes of favorites Stwo and Fortune), and it made his potential quite easy to hear. He's back with some new material now, however, and with it, he's showing some crossover potential that's kind of off the charts. The new track of his is the appropriately titled, DOPAMINE-produced "Drugs", and on it, Anfa is showing not only his penchant for the aforementioned sound and beat selection, but an uncanny ability to mix hip-hop into the song as well. He blends the styles seamlessly on the track here, and it's going to be hard to imagine fans of either not taking incredibly to the sonic whole. This guy is going to be big. "Drugs" looks to be part of a new project by the artist called 2 Triple 0 that's said to be coming soon.
