Andy Kong is a San Franciscan singer-songwriter we've just come across today, and he currently has one EP out. Despite the body of work being about a year old, it hasn't picked up the attention that it deserves, and, because of that, we're hoping to change that today. "All We Were" is what we figured to be the best of the project's bunch, and its soothing brand of soulful pop really struck a chord. Production is kept to the absolute minimum here with the use of slow snaps, occasional piano chords, and a few guitar strums. However, with endlessly blissful vocals and a haunting falsetto in the background to boot, the track packs some cool, heartfelt vibes that we figure we'll be coming back to more than one time.
