"PYP" is the latest effort from Anderson .Paak, a talented singer and drummer hailing from Los Angeles. The track hits hard with a relentless drum groove and energetic instrumentals, and for a couple of minutes, it sounds like a cover of an old-school R&B track before quickly evolving into a Pretty Lights-esque dance one carried by a jagged, knife-edged baseline. Anderson Paak's style is far from typical, and this effort is a great example of his quirky, maximal take on R&B and hip-hop. To say the least, "PYP" is an outstanding effort, and we can safely bet that it will be stuck in your head for days to come. "PYP" is taken form Paak's latest project, O.B.E. Vol. 1, which can be purchased via Bandcamp.
