Ordinarily under his Breezy Lovejoy moniker, the LA singer/drummer is going by his real name, Anderson Paak, for his brand new side project, Cover Art, which sees Paak covering the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The White Stripes, The Postal Service, The Beatles, Neil Young, and Toto on this six-track effort. Rather that electing to go the easy route and just flipping the songs in a lazy manor, Paak and his crew of musicians recorded live instrumentation for the Cover Art project, giving it a sense of actual reinterpretive quality rather than mere regurgitation. The EP hits its peak during "Maps", "Hold The Line", and "Seven Nation Army", but if you find the time to hear the rest of the songs, you will not be disappointed.
