Although "nina" is just anaïs' first song, she's basically been preparing to release music her entire life. She performed in a classical choir during her early childhood in Toulouse, learned English and began songwriting during her teens in Dublin, and jumped into soul and R&B while studying music at NYU. Now, stationed in the UK, anaïs is delivering her own sound with a terrific piece of R&B titled "nina". This Nina Simone-inspired track blends current production values with authentic instrumentation, providing a perfect platform for anaïs to showcase her vocal. We are blown away by her first effort here, and we're excited to hear more on her debut EP, before zero, expected for release March 13.
