We've seen and heard plenty of obscure acts coming out of the gate with zero information or even social media accounts explaining themselves, but we've a first here with Melbourne producer Nick Kendall (Amourouge), who doesn't even give us a picture to use for this post! Normally, we can move along with such scenarios knowing that the musical efforts to match aren't going to be that great, but with that which Nick's providing us here, we're forced into digging up as much information as we can about the guy. So in light of our predicament, we've decided to choose one of the only pictures of him we could find. Hopefully no one minds. Anyway, what we're here for, as always, is the music, and hidden on Nick's SoundCloud page are eight tracks that showcase his production and even singing abilities (he sings on "Missed Connection") . From originals to remixes, there's definitely something going on here in regards to promise, and on such favourites as "Good Love", "Missed Connection", "Not Alone", and "Breathe Easy", we find an undeniable ear for sampling and crafting ear-pleasing beats. So vocalists, if you're looking for a new, up-and-coming producer to collaborate with, you best hit up Amourouge, and get to work immediately, because he's fantastic sound to offer.
