There’s never a time we’re not impressed with artists giving a new take on a genre, and that's especially the case when one's done as well as Amason’s here with “Duvan”, the lead track of their two-part alternative EP that was released today. There’s a certain degree of ambiguity in their work, certainly, whether with the message they’re conveying, or the Swedes' mildly clouded history, but nevertheless, “Duvan” sonically speaks for itself and requires no further knowledge for enjoyment. The eclectic nature of Amason's music is hard to miss, as they’ve successfully drawn on a number of different themes in “Duvan” with knocking beats and more laid-back segments with the drums taking a rest. They’re an intriguing act for sure with what elements they employ, and their alternative sound is definitely one that's all their own. We’d recommend that you not only take a look into their new track here, but their entire musical arsenal that's available on SoundCloud as well, as we can promise that there’s sure to be a sound on their page that you’ll latch onto.
