After previously featuring two tracks from his incredible self-titled debut EP, KOWL returns once again to the Hillydilly pages, this time in remix form as he tackles fellow Australian act, ALTA, and their single "Tell Me". Where the original tune is an exercise in skillful experimental percussion, KOWL takes a different approach with his re-interpretation. Not satisfied with simply contorting the base elements with electronic production, Cal Young enlists the help of friends, Tom Howard (guitar), and Nick Squires (saxophone), to give this remix some serious depth. Hannah Lesser's vocal track remains intact, if somewhat accentuated, as KOWL and his partners in crime create a lush, funky, electronic atmosphere that not only pays service to the original, but is imbued with the very soul of this young producer.
