The Melbourne duo consisting of Hannah Lesser (vocals) and Julius Dowson (production) play off each other in ways that become comparable to that of organic entities tangling enthusiastically in the wild on their second EP, Game Broke Out. Like the naturally occurring symphony of sounds that is created when a loud waterfall crashes amidst the sound of birds chirping and leaves dancing in the breeze, so too does the sounds of ALTA wash over the senses. From the lush production of Julius who takes the aural sensations into a deep and cavernous place of experimental euphoria, to the featherlight tone of Hannah who carries her soul on her sleeve, ALTA is much more than just a duo who make music; it's a metaphysical place you can escape to.
