When you tell the average person you like pop music, they probably think of the stuff they hear on the radio (and judge you for it). There's (obviously) some out there that's a million times better, but, unfortunately, it probably never makes it to their ears—and that hides how good it can be. If you find yourself wanting to discover and/or share some of the good kind, therefore, consider turning to Allie X and her dance-ridden, infectious sound. She just dropped the second part of her CollXtion project, and it has on it some of the best-sounding pop we have heard in a long time. "Vintage", "Paper Love", and "Cassanova" are the best songs on it, and they should absolutely get you to check out the rest of the project on Spotify now.
