I'll be damned if this isn't one of the loveliest tracks I've heard in weeks. I'll also be damned if I don't account for one hundred or more plays of it on SoundCloud by the end of the evening. Honestly, it's that attractive. To be completely fair, though, the sort of magnetic efforts appearing in "Paradise" are not atpical ocurrences for those involved. Alina Baraz and ESTA are equally capable of tantalizing aural creations, evidenced rather obviously by this most recent work of theirs, but that doesn't mean that we should be any less appreciative of the intricacies inherent to their time and talents, however apparent they seem to be. I mean, it's only right to continue our enthusiastic analyzation of each offering of theirs, no? It's the responsibility of a music blogger, right? I'll say that it's fun as hell, either way. What I've learned to love about this appropriately titled track, after dozens of listens, is the ongoing gorgeousness of it. The blossoming synth at the beginning sets the stage for Alina's angelic voice to then occupy, and as the song advances, so too do the impassioned nuances offered by the pair. A soothing soundscape offered by ESTA works wonderfully to caress the ethereal chorus that the vocalist exudes, and it's safe to say that you'll struggle to turn to any other song after exposure to this one.
