It's been kind of annoying seeing so many Alina Baraz and Galimatias remixes over the past couple of weeks, but we can understand why so many producers would want to try their hand at reworking the absolute musical masterpiece. It's a track that's about as inspiring as sound gets, and Alina's angelic vocals combined with Galimatias' expert production touch allows for a pretty solid remixing foundation to be set. Honestly, a producer would be crazy not to want to tamper with it. Enter Ark Patrol, one of our favorite electronic artists to emerge in the past year and half, and also his signature downtempo take which we see employed here on the aforementioned track. Unlike most of the edits we've come across thus far for the track, Ark actually weaves in a substantially different vibe into it, and his injection of both poignant synths and pace-sensitive percussion helps engender a more moving ethereality than the original source presents. We're digging it tons, and we're also fans of his own impromptu breakdown that rounds the track out, making it solid from beginning to end.
