Alina Baraz is one of the best singers and songwriters on the planet, and together with her right-hand producer, the equally incredible electronic producer, Galimatias, we have one of the best combinations of the two artists' sounds we've come across ever. Every song they've put out has been complete and utter magic while racking up millions of deserved plays, and the fact that their debut project together is right around the corner has us as excited as one can reasonably get. Their brand-new effort here, "Can I", sees Alina coasting effortlessly as she always does atop Galimatias' spacious, suave soundscape, and though it's a pretty minimal effort overall, there's nothing to desire further from it. These two make their magic work by always being in sync with one another and never overdoing anything at all, and as we see here for what seems like the millionth time, they overstep no boundaries but those that would otherwise confine their wildly beautiful sound. Urban Flora, the title of their forthcoming album, will be out May 19 via Ultra Records.
